Finding a job is a top priority for many immigrants once they arrive in the United States. You can often find out about job opportunities through friends, family, or others in your community. The Federal Government has developed resources to help you find a job, build a resume, and prepare for the job interview. Federal laws forbid employers from discriminating against job seekers. You can find detailed information on these laws under "Employment Standards."
